{9:45} “We need people in the classroom who can serve the kids… and if that’s not you that’s great that you can recognize that… I always tell people there is no shame in leaving teaching…”

{21:00} “My humor is very animated. I love when I’m on stage… and I can get the audience with a facial gesture… I love it.”

{22:50} “I am so honored by [my first video]. It was what put me on the map… I’m proud of it. I think it’s a timeless joke… and it will always be funny.”

{38:00} “Don’t take [your career] too seriously. Have fun. If you’re not having fun why are you doing it? All life is a rollercoaster… but if the majority of the time you’re not having fun do something else.”

Joe “Mr. D” Dombrowski, is a passionately funny school teacher, prankster, podcaster, and comedian. He first rose to fame from a viral video of a fake spelling test as an April Fool’s Day prank on his students, which led to multiple appearances on the show Ellen.

Comedy is Joe’s life’s passion, and with a self-described “animated” style, he prides himself on bringing many smiles to people’s faces. As of August 2021, he is on tour for his show “School’s Out for Summer,” and continues to base his comedy routine on life in the classroom. In his off time, you can find him hard at work on his school-themed podcast “Social Studies.”
